It’s important that we maintain a consistent and professional image every time we communicate. One of the most frequent ways we represent Australia Post is through our email signature, so it’s essential they reflect the simple, clean and straightforward qualities we aim to achieve in all of our communications.
To achieve this, Australia Post employees should use the standard format email signature shown below to sign off their company email messages.
Example signature:
First Name Surname
Job title
Group/Facility Name
Australia Post
P 02 1234 5678
F 02 1234 5678
M 0123 456 789 (optional) |
John Postie
Administration Officer
Customer Contact Centre
Australia Post
P 02 9202 0000
F 02 9202 0000 |
The font should be 12 point Zurich or Arial, in grey or black.
The Australia Post logo should not be used in emails, either as a header or as part of a custom signature. We do not use sayings, slogans, advertising taglines, icons, images or quotations in email signatures.
While it can be fun to personalise signatures it's important to remember that different e-mail systems don't always support our formatting. Pictures or logos in your e-mail signature don’t fall within our guidelines and they often only appear as file names at the recipient's end.
If you have any questions about email signatures, how the Australia Post brand is represented or Trade Practices Compliance, please contact Joshua Zugajev in Corporate Public Affairs on 02 9202 6826 or via email at joshua.zugajev@auspost.com.au.
